Michael Schenker

Wich speakers did Michael use in the 70's in UFO? Was the 25W or 30W Celestions used by most british hard rock players then? Nowdays i wonder if he uses regular cabs with 75W Celestions.

G12M 25W warmer?

It's probably been asked before but is the G12M 25W Celestion speaker warmer sounding than the G12H 30W. Both 55hz and 75hz. Of these two i guess the 55hz is warmer sounding.

Re: New 1960BX

Got it today. It took some time but now it's just to break it in. Sometimes i wish they'd still do the 1960 Classic cab so you could have it regular black.

Re: Uli Jon Roth

I admit he doesn't come across as an easy outgoing person but this night he sometimes had a smile on his face and really seemed to appreciate the audience and thanked us for listening. He also came out and signed things after the show. Maybe he's a shy person. Anyway he is an amazing guitar player.

Uli Jon Roth

This friday me and my brother went to see Uli Jon Roth at Rockland in a small nearby town called Sala here in Sweden. First the singer/guitarplayer, bass player, keyboard player and drummer played some songs of there own. They were a band of their own but i didn't hear what they were called. Then th...

According to Thomannns web site they soon will get a delivery of a Marshall 425A Vintage Modern cab. I didn't know Marshall still made them.

Re: New milestone

I actually got my first ever pedal board this summer. I thought it was better than leaving them at home most of the time because i was to lazy taking them to gigs. Then what i use depends on the gig.

Re: 65W Celestions

Thanks Sigi. So up until then it was the 25W and 30W Greenbacks. I've red that Marshall in the beginning changed speakers but still claimed the cab was 100 or 120 Watts.

Re: Gibson Reissues

Other things matters. But if you don't like the neck the guitar will never really speak to you. I had a Washed Cherry R9 for a while and i'm not to keen on reddish Cherry Bursts so that disturbed me. I know it's kind of silly since it doesn't affect neither the tone or feel. But still i never really...

He's got a whole bunch of great songs. He plays like he can almost connect the guitar to his brain.

Re: Gibson Reissues

Yeah liking the neck on your guitar is very important. A fatter neck works better when you sit and play theguitar than standing with it with a strap for me anyway.
