Re: Dead Daisies

i bought this CD and at the first listen i just thought it was ok. But now after i've listened to it more i really like it. Doug is great. Maybe i liked the voice of the original Singer better. I saw them in december 2015 opening up for Whitesnake with Richard Fortus and not Doug on guitar. They wer...

Re: Wich speaker

My first Marshall wich was a 100W 2150 Marshall Rock And Roll Baby 1x12 combo. It had i believe a Powercel speaker. What is that for speaker? Sounded good from what i remember since it's over 30 years since i had it. Real cool amp that one with 4 inputs like a Standard amp with a volume for each cha...

Gibson Reissues

Now i've played Gibson Les Paul Reissues since 2012. I've had an R8 two R9"s and an R7. All of them great guitars with what is said the right old specs. But when testing my brothers new DSL 100H amp i borrowed his 93 Gibson Les Paul Standard. It felt so easy to play after playing my Reissues with mo...

What do you prefer G12T75W Celestions or Vintage 30's? Wich do you think is closer to a Greenback?

Re: New 1960BX

Besides the 1960BHW the 1960BX remains the best sounding Marshall Cabinet, I like the straight cabs better and these BX cabs just sound right.... (look great too) I agree Surf! When you play on small stages and you stand close to your speaker you can hear yourself better with a slanted A cab. But s...

Tc electronic Corona chorus

Some time ago i bought the tc electronic Corona chorus. I must say it's really a great pedal. The tri chorus is lovely.

Re: AFD100 sold...

Well, well if it works for you great. Never thought you'd sell the AFD100. Me i mostly do gigs and seldom record nowdays. But i feel i need a real amp. No matter how good these stuff sounds i could never get the right vibe by playing it. I'm probably wrong but i still think if you really examine the...

New 1960BX

New 1960BX cab on the way. I think the 25W Celestions have more mids and sound fatter than the G12H30W. I wish i could have it in a regular black cab like the old 1960 Classic though.

Re: 30W Celstions?

I think there was some cabs with 75hz 30W Celestions in them. Steve D should know this.

Re: 2061x new amp day

Would you say the G12H is more scooped and less midrangey than the G12C? Thinner sounding maybe?

Re: 2061x new amp day

Congrats! I really want one of these myself. It would be a great portable amp to play at home and at rehearsals. I believe the G12C is a bit darker sounding than the G12M. I´ve never really tried the G12H so i can´t really comment on this. They should have more bottom and top end, more of a scooped ...

Re: 30W Celstions?

I´ve never tried the G12H 30 but on Celestions site i prefered the 75hz. The 55hz had some low end bark i dídn´t like. If you had to choose between a G12M 25 or a G12H 30 what would you choose? There is a 55hz 25w Greenback also does it have the M or H magnet? Was all the 55hz originally intended fo...
