Re: JMDs not readily available in stores, why?

I would be willing to bet that if Pete Townsend would have had his choice back in the day , we would be worshiping the JMD today. :ntworth

Re: Just got the JMD1-100 watt head....

This is my first "tube amp". Had several SS amps over the years so I can't tell you if the preamps match the moddled amps exactly, but I can say there are 16 fantastic voicings to play with. It's good to hear you say it sounds better than the classic amps you have.

Re: Acoustic Guitar Tuners

I picked up one of the clamp on snark tuners the other day and it's the best tuner for the money I 've had. It will show any note on the fretboard. Really great, fast and responsive and works off of vibration so background noise is not an issue. try it ,you'll love it. $25

I have a 100 watt head and a vintage 30/G12-70MD 2x12 cab in my living room and it's so loud it will break things. I have a fender accoustic hanging on...

Re: one off JMD

Thanks for the support. I thought it might not go over good for some of the diehard marshall fans here. I started to rebuild it to original looks with birtch ply and tolex and decided to make it mine. I really don't have the tools to craft it right . best I could do with a jigsaw, circular saw ,and ...
