Re: Something new from Marshall?

I would bet on this being a joke... To prepare the announcement of a mini jcm800... Similar format as the mini jube... Would be high seller... You think there is a market for a mini 800 now they have the mini Jubilee as a permanent addition? I wish they would have released a 1 x 12 cabinet for the ...

Re: Something new from Marshall?

I'm really hoping it's the Satch 20w combo, I am very close to pulling the trigger on the mini Jub combo but really want to see the Satch combo first.

Re: NAD : Code 25

Damn, I missed one of the other photos that showed the speaker directly wired to the pcb. I was thinking that the code had a separate 1/4" connector for the speaker like the other combos. I was kind of hoping that the Code combos would be similar in build to the stand alone Code head, but all they ...

Re: NAD : Code 25

There is no extension speaker output on the Code. Only the head has the 4 ohm output I believe for the designed cabinet. As I posted, the speaker in the 25 is 4 ohm anyway, so it not like I could run the speakers leads to another speaker. It's obviously a specific speaker Marshall have chosen to giv...

Cool, I used to get strings there all the time, when I lived in Paris.

Wonder how they had one before anyone else?

Re: NAD : Code 25

Thanks for the info djw171. How is the feel of the amp when playing the guitar through it? How does it compare to the feel of playing through a tube amps? If different, different in what way? Thanks! I've not honestly played through it enough yet and found or created a setting that I've used for a ...

Re: NAD : Code 25

Very cool enjoy the amp! I really wish the combos had an effects loop. Ive become accustomed to using my BOSS GT100 with my DSL40 via the four-cable-method. I dont know if I can get along without the use of the BOSS's noise gate(s), channel switching, and wah! I don't think it's the type of amp tha...

Re: NAD : Code 25

Thanks Peveo. It sounds good for what it is. As Surf said the speaker is representing many different amp and speaker combinations. I don't know much about digital modelling amps to be honest but it stands to reason that a neutral speaker is the way to go. It's not like pairing a certain real tube am...

BTW I have given you the Rank of the "#1 CODE Owner". :clap
Thanks Surf!
