With the levels pretty equal, "sound-wise", the Normal channel sounds just like it should, but the Trem channel crackles on the low Freq. when hitting the low E string from about the 4th-5th fret going down. I've swapped out the 12AX7 a couple of times as well as the Phase Inverter

My 2005 1974x has a strange problem.. when I plug into the normal channel it's fine.. I put a cream alnico in my old MusicMan RD100. Those originally came with an EV. I like it with the Cream and it weighs alot less and sounds so much better!

The issue turned out to be the Smoothing can. It was 15 years old and I'm guessing that it sat for the first 10-12 years, un-used and the electrolyte dried out. I changed out that can and it cure the issues!
