Re: Need to go back to Marshall Roadhouse

Back when this site started there was a lot of action coming from Marshall. Originally the site started as the Vintage Modern Forum. That morphed into a couple of name changes including the Marshall Roadhouse. As time went on between 2008-2016 there were a lot of new amps and buzz with Marshall unti...

The Next Mega Band - WOW

Liliac (Lilly-AK) Remember this band, they are destine for mega stardom. 5 brothers and sisters all under 22 yrs old. The singer is IMO has the best female voice in rock right now. The guitar playing is refreshing as its heavy riffs that are actually musical. This band is just getting started but th...

Re: Like father like son!

Seems like Wolfie is warming up to the idea of playing old Van Halen songs. There is probably no end to the people looking to profit off a tour where Wolfie plays his Dads old stuff. I seen where Sammy Hagar said he would be all in IF Wolfie was on guitar and Micheal Anthony on bass. I think we even...

Jimi Hendrix Experience - Live in Maui

I have never seen this footage of Jimi before, it is fantastic and pretty good quality for its age. It is a full concert recorded in Maui about 45 day before he died. This was one of the last concerts he did, and his playing is really good. If you are a fan of Hendrix and his playing this video is f...

Wind Through The Trees | Dual Analog Flanger Pedal |

PRS Guitars got into the pedal market with 3 new pedals. Horsemeat Transparent Overdrive, Mary Cries Optical Compressor, and Wind Through the Trees Dual Analog Flanger. I like this Wind Through The Trees flanger, some nice tones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWWwGB6DgYQ https://www.youtube.com/wa...

Re: Hurricane Ian.....

This hurricane was suppose to die out once it got onshore...no such luck. Currently its about 40 miles north of me moving back out to the Atlantic Ocean. Winds have been sustained at 50mph with gusts up to 90mph for the past few hours. Not that bad but the thing is LOUD and does grab your attention....

Hurricane Ian.....

We knew living in Florida we would have to contend with hurricanes. This will be my first experience with one. Lucky for us we are on the east coast and not the west coast where this hurricane will hit. However we are still going to get 60-70mph winds and a shit load of rain. Our new house was built...

Re: Marshall Vintage Modern max volume!

Problem always has been people looking at the 2466 as a 2 channel amp.

Vintage Modern 101 - Low dynamic range is not fucking channel 1, and IMO should not even be used unless you like having the footswitch available to call up a rolled back cleaner sound.

Re: Band's new album

I gave the tracks a listen, your bands style is all over the place which is not a bad thing. At times I hear punk meets Black Sabbath, Smashing Pumpkins, and even some vibes of Elvis Costello. None of the tracks were annoying and liked the lyrics on some of them. I think your band is still trying to...

Re: Fuller Pedals Closing Shop

I have dealt with Mike Fuller over the years, he has made some good stuff. I was a fan of his Deja-Vibe, OCD and Clyde Wah.

Sounds like he is frustrated with the supply chain and just doesn't want to deal with it anymore.
