Re: A couple things

The best of the Fender BB I think looks to be the 15W, although I've yet to play one. Guitar Center and Sam Ash both have videos on You tube. I've tried all the other three , the 7W head and cabinet was the nicest so far. Since we are guessing at what Marshall may show at Namm, I'm going for a Class...

Re: A couple things

1) I really just kind of wanted to have the first post in this new forum. Now, whenever people search for archived posts in this topic MY post will come up FIRST! :Hijack 2) Have their been any leaks as to the nature of this mystery amp? I'm putting off buying a Bassbreaker 007 until I see if this ...

Noisy Spring Reverb?

Just a question if anyone has any ideas on this. I have a JCM 600 head that I’ve had since new when I was in the UK, brought it to Canada with me and converted it to 110v (with Marshall's assistance at the time, they provided me with the drawings, transformer mod information and the replacement neon...

Joe is a big enough name in guitar playing circles to get a buzz going. Certainly won't hurt Marshalls image and will give some excitement for the what the future holds.

Re: Sort of open letter to Marshall

I'm looking forward to seeing what new amps they are coming out with. The Satch sounds interesting and hopefully will be priced right. I wonder if we will see a Class 5 style, maybe with a bit more features and versatility than the original? It's very easy I guess for us to all criticise Marshalls l...

Re: New Joe Satriani amp in the works

Was thinking, given how secretive Marshall have been of late, and quite rightly too I guess to allow for a big launch of new products, you have to wonder how happy they are Joe has spilled the beans...I have to say I'm quite excited about this amp

Re: New Joe Satriani amp in the works

I've been waiting for a while to hear more about this. Should be a good amp from the description. Loop as well, which is one thing a lot didn't like about the SL5 not having. Hopefully it's in a decent size cabinet. Hot Rod Deluxe size would do me, with the 12" speaker should give a nice full sound..

Re: Which mini stack amp is best?

I think the price would have been far too much for a complete 50th mini stack in fairness to Marshall. A lot of people didn't like the price of just the head or the combo as it was. Being they were UK made Marshall had to charge a bit more. The 50th heads are (H) 180mm x (W) 380 x (D) 195mm. There a...

Re: Marshall Astoria Unleashed – The Capt visits Marshall HQ

Excellent review. Lee really understands what a review is supposed to be. Changing knob positions whilst it's being played is a really good idea. For all the frustation from waiting this video has turned me. Really like the Dual. Will waiting until we see that Winter Namm brings first, if I can hold...

Well Namm 2016 is only 16 weeks away, maybe they'll have some by then! and maybe we'll see something else new other than sunglasses, phones..etc etc..

Re: Astoria demo news

I haven't been looking on here for a while, thought I would check in and am surprised that nothing is up yet in terms of demos. You would think Marshall would have at least one of each of the three amps to film a demo, even if they are not shipping until November (according to Sweetwater (Andertons ...
