Re: power light gone..

I have replaced mine twice.

Very easy to fix but frustrating none-the-less.

"Oh my eyes ... my eyes!!!! :scared2 ... Geezus, you guys really ought to refrain from posting such grotesque pictures online where children can see them. I can't imagine the anguish of retrieving a fallen guitar to discover a broken neck. I wish you good fortune getting her fixed. It's worse with ...

Re: Word of warning

It fell off of a guitar stand!

The annoying thing is that I'd just removed my guitar rack from the practice space because we're moving house and I'll need it in the new place.

Always ensure that your guitar stand has all its feet on the floor and not one resting on top of your mic stand...

Re: Amp sale issues

Keep us posted on those B-Knux!! Thinking of dropping a set of their Nantucket P-90s in my Gibson LP Double Cut, the Gibby stock pups are decent but after getting some Fralin P-90s in my Gretsch the air, detail and 3-D depth are undeniable... so now the stock Gibsons sound like cardboard in compari...

Re: Amp sale issues

I really have no idea what the dude was playing at. He said he has Fender and Orange amps which both work through his cabinet, unlike the Marshall. He clearly knew how to work amps... I dunno... So what GAS do you have that made you sell your DSL? I picked up a Les Paul Junior last week so it'll hel...

Re: Amp sale issues

Thanks guys.

It was a local sale so I got him to come round with it so I could try it out again. Guess what: it works fine...

So he's gone with the amp having accepted that it works and there is obviously an issue at his end. Very strange story...

Amp sale issues

I recently sold my DSL50 and the buyer has been in touch to say that all he's getting from the amp is a hiss but no sound. Now, I have no idea what is wrong as I haven't had the opportunity to look but it sounds like some kind of tube problem or the ht fuse. He's stated that if it's a big problem he...

Re: NGD: P90 kicking my ass (LP JR content)

Does that have rosewood or the obeche fingerboard? If it's obeche what do you make of it?

I'm going to look at some Juniors today or tomorrow and that's my only concern.

Re: Spark Booster pedal from TC Electronic

I think I agree with you surf. I have no hands on experience with the mk4.23 but from the videos I've seen it seems to have something that the spark boost lacks.

Pity he didn't demo a Les Paul with it...

I too noticed a different in colour when my second replacement arrived but mine isn't blue.

Mine's more of a lilac / pinky than a purple.

But then I am colour blind...

Re: Non-stick Tubescreamer

The super glue is working well! The resistor on this 808 board with the "K" on it , if you swap it out to a 2.2k it will make the LED perfect brightness :Thumbs http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/5/ts9led.jpg Thanks Ritchie, I've swapped in a blue LED too - working on my tan every time I play!
