I'm thinking of getting a 2x12 to use with my 2266 because the 425A is going to be just too big to move around when my band get to gigging. My local guitar shop didn't have any Marshall 2x12s but I did notice some Orange ones on the other side of the room. Has anyone tried the VM through Orange cabs...

Top Wrapping Les Paul Strings

For the Les Paul players out there, how many of you top wrap the strings around the bridge when you replace strings?

I've done it for a while to get the bridge as low to the body as possible but I'm starting to notice tuning problems.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It was my Les Paul (Alnico 2 in the bridge, Bare Knuckle Black Dog in the neck) tuned to Eb. The cabinet is the VM 425A through a Shure SM57 to my soundcard.
