Re: Little more about Astoria

It could have been my project. Great project from someone who has good taste. By the way i wonder if Marshall has fired Steve and if Chris George will be the next one? Re: Rollers on JTM45/100 closed cab

Hi SIGI,
thanks for the link. I will not drill the cab.
I will check if there is already a hole for the castor. In this case it's perhaps as simple as pluging the castor into the hole.

Rollers on JTM45/100 closed cab

I would like to add rollers on the closed cab of my JTM45/100 stack.
Is it easy to do?
What model of rollers should i use?

Thanks.

Re: The new 50th amps

Steve your amps are the best!!! Vintage Modern rules!!!! Thanks again for making the best amp ever. Just the JMP1. I agree. By the way i don't understand why all artists have just sa...go in the mouth. What they are afraid about? Did he bought a big bunch of Marshall actions? (at the UK stock excha...

Re: Fresh video from NAMM, backstage with Chris George

I don't think pcb vs hand wired makes all that difference sonically or even durability wise. I understand your point even if i don't agree totally. 1. you can easily modify a turret board and set it back to stock if you want.(and no one will know it) It's important for an anniversary which can beco...

Re: Fresh video from NAMM, backstage with Chris George

Probably...which is a little bit sad.
Marshall knows how to make great sounding amps, now they have to learn how to sell dreams.
Anyway, next time. ;o)

Re: Fresh video from NAMM, backstage with Chris George

I see the weak point in the clean sound. The JTM should have a nice clean sound but IMO it comes from the KT66 so here i wonder... They sound really great and distinct. The cherry on the cake would have been a turret board version for this price. Of course you need more time but probably a man can b...

Re: Too good to pass up...

I agree, the clip doesn't do justice to the amp. "all eq's and presence set to 5" this is one reason i think. It's a JTM45 so roll back the bass knob. With the presence below 5 you get a fat tone, after 5 you go from crystal to bright tone. This amp rings, it makes music. By the way i'm using an att...
