New Schecter Silver Mountain

For the past few years I have been wanting the new Sustainiac pickup in my guitar. It is major surgery to retrofit one of these pickups into an exiting guitar so I knew I would be better off just buying one that had it already. This is where Schecter Guitar Research comes in. In recent years they ha...

Re: Marshall Amps has been sold

Terry likes to talk about himself. I did see where he spoke about a small watt JTM45 being released and also stated with a big grin many new products coming. I doubt it.

With 24% ownership still in the company I don't know how much control he will have.

Re: New Marshall YouTube video - SteveD JTM45

Very good video, learned something about these I did not know. For the way I play I like these amps for rythem playing but not lead tone, you would need a good boost/OD. I remember seeing these at NAMM when they came out again in 2012 with the Handwired 50th Ann version. What a gorgeous amp. Only Ma...

Isolated Guitar Track of Voodoo Child

Sounds like a bunch of noise, but its Jimi Hendrix’s performance at the Woodstock festival on August 18, 1969 has come to be regarded as one of the electric guitar’s defining moments.

Now you can listen to just Jimi's guitar.

Re: Marshall Amps has been sold

The leadership and management of Marshall really screwed the company since Jim Marshall died. I expected this would happen. So many amps never came to market and the ones that did since 2014 :roll It will never be the same. :roll As of now there are no plans to close or shift production away from Ma...

Mesa Boogie Releases the Mark VII

I guess it took so long to make the Mark 6 that time they finished it was a whole new amp thus the Mark 7. Mesa did not wait until NAMM in a few weeks to launch this. Come in a Head, Combo, and Rackmount. 90/45/25W rackmount tube head re-creates classic Mesa/Boogie tones with the building blocks to ...

Re: Marshall Vintage Modern: From The Museum Steve Dawson Interview!!!

Really enjoyed this. It took 16 years but we finally have a great demo of the Vintage Modern. I felt like I was sitting in the room with those two. I bought my 2466 in 2007. I was so happy that Marshall made an amp for the way I play. I also am a Strat player and to me there has never been any amp t...

Re: Musikraft Neck Arrived

This looks very nice. I might opt for some light staining on mine if possible. I don't think they offer edge rolling. I might consider that as well, thank you for sharing. BTW, that is defintely is a one piece neck, they do offer them. These are my personal favorite, looks wise anyway. I think the ...

How does it play?

Easy, that would be the best way to describe it. The effort it takes is just comfortable now.

I like the Shredmaster. This is a welcome release by Marshall.

As always props to Steve Smith for doing a proper demo.

Re: Musikraft Neck Arrived

Very happy on how the neck turned out, it feels great now with a beefy neck. The finish on it is very smooth.

Re: Musikraft Neck Arrived

The guitar is at my luther right now. He is getting the neck and Floyd rose setup, intonation, and smoothing the edge of the stainless frets. Should have it home later today. It os going on my new USA Jackson Adrian Smith. These are great guitars but obviously Adrian likes a thin profile neck and I ...

Very pretty. Is that one piece or a separate finger board?
I can't tell, looks like its just one piece. If they glued on a fretboard I can't find any evidence of it.

Musikraft Neck Arrived

This company builds necks better than Fender does. Even though Fender license them, this is the best quality neck I have had. The tung oil on it feels great and this one has the right girth and radius. The med jumbo stainless frets are great and the roll off on the edges perfect. Very happy how the ...
