Well I'm quite disapointed with a Mullard CV4004 in V1. The amp is less pedal friendly.
But an old Mullard ECC82 in V2 give me more vintage and swith gain.
I have tried a number of effects fuzz's Tube Screamer's etc. So far nothing sounds as good as straight through the amp. I can get an incredible variety of sounds by adjusting the body and detail plus the master volume. My problem is that some settings are just too loud for practising at home. Unles...
I've got good results with my 10 band EQ KFK1 MXR when I decrease volume and gain at -12bd each.
My eq is in the loop of course.
I can crank the preamp and power amp enough.
It's an excellent 2 amps in one thanks the dynamics choice (High or low). Be carefully that's not a 2 channel amp ! 2 differents characteristics, low dynamics give you an old plexi sound. The high dynamics give you a very articulate and dynamic jcm 800 overboosted drive. It's the Marshall sound I li...

Oh yes... I like the combo. For me it's very suitable, cause in one pack you have the entire system (preamp, poweramp, speaker) Ok it's a quite loud, but it's allright I'm strong enough. Then the 50W is the perfect power for me. Because I'm sure to crank it enough (master never under 85% in LDR and ...

Hi everyone, Bonjour à tous, I'm a french newbee, a great pleasure with this wonderfull amp. My 2266C Rocks a lot ! I used to play it in LDR, great pedal friendly and also with a well working clean boost in the loop but only at LDR and Body/Detail up to 60 percents max. That is my suggest to use a b...
