Has anyone actually modded the Boost to be footswitchable?

Postby SoCalSteve » 07 Feb 2015, 12:31

Saw a post by SteveD about putting a relay in place of or with the Boost switch to make it work with the footswitch. I'd rather have this than DR switching.

Has anyone done this? Should I be the
guinea pig?

I think your going to be the Guinea Pig. I wouldn't think it's that hard of a mod to do. If you play in HDR all the time then this mod makes sense.

If you do it let us know what was involved. Good luck.

I made it switchable but didn't mod the anp!
It was kind of wireless mini robot taped to amps front panel.
Worked good but I didn't play much with
Mid boost engaged. So, I rebuilt it to control the gain.
