I have recorded a video with my ipad . It's not pristine but you can hear the sound of the amp . Does someone could help me to upload it ?

i did some fine tuning by adding a 120 pf bright cap across the detail volume .It was a little dark at low volume . Now its better :yea

Good luck with your project! But the 2266C is such a great amp as is. I have thought of doing some mods myself and even consulted Steve on this. However I have decided to leave the amp as is. They could become collectables in the future. The Astoria is probably the only current Marshall that can beet it. If Steve ever builds his own amps I would love to see what he comes up with next.

Hi,

You can check the results in the other thread i've posted "Marshall vintage Modern with 1987 preamp " . I've just never thought about the collectibility of this amp but who knows :think
The fact is i prefer an amp that suits my tastes instead of leaving it stock and to have no inspiration from it . It's a matter of taste and by tweaking it i've learned many things and that would be helpfull .
I kept the kt66 coz that's what sold me the amp but i turned it into more Marshally sound .
Some changes on the preamp and on the NFB circuit :Thumbs
