Hi !

I have some interrogation concerning the negative feedback loop'on the 2266 . I figured out that r58 is the resistor for the NFB but why there is a capacitor and an other resistor on parallel ?
I think there much NFB than in other Marshall amps . What if i change the value of r58 ? Do i gonna have earlier breakup and smoother transition if îincrease the value of r58 ??, :think

See my reply in the other thread.

Be very careful when messing with NFB as you can cause problems if you don't know what you're doing

Hi Steve,

A question regarding the NFB snubber (C80,R91). Is the snubber required due to the extra gain stage of Vintage modern (in high dynamic range) compared with say the Super100JH which does not have the extra gain stage potentially causing oscillation?
