Looking to buy

Hi,
I am very impressed with what little I have learned about these amps and as a consequence will be looking to buy either a 2266 or a 2466 in the near future.

I have seen a few here in the UK (west Yorks) and as soon as I can raise some cash I want one!

Ideally an unmolested purple one to match my "just purchased" new old stock 425a 4x12 (dropped on lucky with that, 2007).

Looking forward to joining the bunch of fellow Marshalites and especially gleaning knowledge from Steve Dawson whom I admire greatly, this man should surely keep on designing quality amps.

Try to find the 100 watt 2466, it is a fantastic amp.

I hear that! I like the purple heads, too.

I have a black 2466 and a purple 2266C, but am still looking around for a 2266 purple head. I may consider a black 2266 if I decide to take the time to re-cover it with purple tolex or another color. A 2266 might look good in red tolex.

Thanks Billy, I have not even tried one yet but I know instinctively that it will be right up my street.

I dare not look properly yet since I do not have the readies! but I have an item for sale which hopefully will provide the cash, my pension will not run to large purchases LoL.
