Reason this site was offline for hours yesterday

As you know I am very concerned with who the Host is that keeps this site up. Blue Host is one of the best anywhere and yesterday they had a rare shutdown that was not in their control. Just wanted to share why the site was down for a few hours yesterday.

The City of Provo is currently working on a major issue near our building and Rocky Mountain Power has requested that we shut down all electrical systems until they have completed their work. Because of this notification we were able to cleanly shut down the servers so everyone's data will be safe. We regret the inconvenience this has caused and will have everything has been approved to be turned on again. They are estimating they will be completed about 2:00am Mountain Standard time. We appreciate your patience.

Happens to the best of them trust me after 15 years with web sites and my own dedicated server with several hosts, they all go down at times...

Hey one time, the one host, who was a large one had all their servers and equipment stolen and took them days to get back up and running. What a nightmare that one was!
