Thanks for the kind comments guys, I appreciate it and glad this forum is useful for you.

@Wildone, no Marshall does not sponsor nor is it affiliated with the forum in any way. Marshall also has never asked me to keep it up or take it down. The site is maintained by myself with the help of the moderators. Some members who actually work for the Marshall Company come here and donate their time to help us out which is cool. I am sure there are more employees from Marshal that stop by and read some of the discussion also. After meeting some of them at NAMM this year I can tell you they are all great people, they made me feel like part of the family while I was there.

When this site moved to this sever back in 2009 I ran a little fund raiser asking any members to help out with what they could to help me offset the costs for the domain and the ISP, while I appreciate greatly those who contributed it just made me feel uncomfortable to run a fund raiser. The two year contract was set to expire this month so rather then run another fund raiser just took care of it myself because I wanted too. As you can see by my post count I spout off more than anyone else anyways.

There are about four Marshall Support forums out there that I am aware of. One of them is heavy into advertizing the others are small like this forum. While there have been offers for advertizing banners I have rejected all of them and plan to keep it that way. The hardest part now is staying one step ahead of spammers.

Marshall in no way controls the content of this forum and I'm sure that is the way many people prefer it. If they did support/sponsor/affiliate it then they would want control, and rightly so.

That said, employees like myself and Chris George contribute freely and will certainly offer support/advice to customers if they require it. There are boundaries which we cannot cross, e.g. giving info on current projects in progress etc. but I'm sure everyone understands that. We also make sure that any bullshit that unfairly appears on the forum as a result of internet heresay or just downright grudge posting is promptly answered with correct information or dispelled as rubbish, which it very often is.

This is a great community which grows by the day.

@Surf : I personaly would NEVER mind to donate something to keep this forum online, I was a member since '10 so didn't know how financial stuff were organised! The fact you didn't ask it to proves (like I always thought...) that you have the hart on the right place! Again, thanks alot!
