Hi guys,

I'm after finding two of these ecc83 tubes in an old Marshall PA100 I have. I decided to put them in my VM and they are amazing! I'm not very good at describing but I'd have to say they add more depth and body as well as clarity. They're amazing. Anyway, does anyone know the brand? I want to find more on ebay :Thumbs

Forgive my ignorance, but if they are old and from a PA head, I'm guessing that they are Mullards?

I'm pretty sure they're not Mullards. I've never seen anything like them before :headbanger

Definitely a European tube. So many were rebranded that you will have to do more research to know for certain. The old European tubes were made by Mullard, Amperex, Siemens, Telefunken, Tungsram, RFT, Ei, Mazda, Lorenz, and Philips. Like I said, it is one of these rebranded. Might email the pic to a NOS tube dealer and see what they think, just tell them you are looking to buy more of them.
