So these are the same tubes that came with the Vintage Modern ?
Same number as the Shuguang but has the Marshall logo.

Marshall's Own Recreation of the Famous Gold Lion

Original factory KT66s were Marshall branded Shuguang's, the Golden Lion is a good KT66 from a different factory. They are offered as replacements now based on availability. KT66s are not the easiest tubes to come by, brands come and go.

Golden Dragon & Gold Lion are 2 different tubes...

Gold Lion have been bought out by New Sensor (Saratov, Russia) & are decent tubes, but, from what reviewers say, they are not as good as the original. Golden Dragon are Chinese.

While that page doesn't say it, many of the other GD tubes on the site say this:

"Manufactured in China to strict UK specification."

Thanks, I guess it was the Marshall logo and Shuguang number that had me wondering.
