Im sold, those things look real different inside, hopefully will be cool to have something new and different.

If they are reasonably priced I'll try out a couple as soon as possible.

Very interesting tube, the ECC83 sub has a few differences.

The heater to cathode voltage is a bit lower (180V) than a standard ECC83, this is important in V2 in non master volume Marshalls. You'll need to watch this if you use it as a replacement.

They make a big deal about the internal capacitances being much lower than a standard ECC83, this would definitely change the tone of the tube. It might make the sound brighter, perhaps a lot brighter. It might also make an amp more susceptible to parasitic oscillation.

I plan to buy some of these as soon as they are available (and if they aren't too expensive) just to support the company, it's a wonderful thing that new vacuum tube designs are being developed. This is an indication that tubes will be around for a long time to come. And none of us want vacuum tubes to stop being produced.

Very intersting, we can only hope that they can pump out tubes that are as good as the original Mullards, I am not impressed at all with the Mullard reissues that are currently availible. Did I miss when and where these will be availible?
