Finally checked my bias

Postby VMGravy » 08 Mar 2009, 13:04

Well i decided to check the bias cuz its sunday and im bored.
It read 75.7 on one side and 72.5 on the other (2266) so i dropped it to 47.8 and 45.7.
Is it normal for them to drift that far out of wack?

:eek That's not normal at all but I'm glad you checked it.

Did you buy it new?

Are you sure the meter you used is OK and was set to the correct range?
Still my guitar gently weeps

Holy smokes :scared, those valves had to be a glowing bright. I'll bet it sounds a bit more defined and articulate now. I'm surprised it didn't start melting or arc welding inside :rip

Glad you checked it and she's allright now.
