Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle (AFD100 Cover)

Postby Encore » 02 Jan 2013, 05:24

So.. Here is my cover of the WTTJ. There are a lot of mistakes, I still don't know how to play solos right.. But I think that it sounds good enough anyway. :D

Nice job, man. Better than I could have done, for sure. Nice tone, too. One thing I did notice is that at the end of the soft part ("when you're high you never, ever wanna come down"), you were playing an A chord for the most part. (Actually A-flat, with the guitar tuned down.) If I recall correctly, you should play it as follows. (When I write G, it will really be F#, because your guitar is tuned down a half-step.)

When you're high, you never, ever wanna come down
D G D G-G-G-G-G

[so] down [so] down [so] down yeah!!!!
F G-G-G-G-G F G-G-G-G-G F A-A-A-A-A E

Anyway, I hope you didn't mind my little piece of advice. Rock on!

:jam :metal :slash
Happiness is playing a Gibson guitar through a Marshall amplifier.
