Okay, so a lot of people have talked about attenuators on this site. I've mentioned my interest in the "Ultimate Attenuator". Yes, they are expensive but...

It doesn't suck any tone at all...pretty damn impressive. If I had the dosh I'd pick one up.

I like the simplicity(one knob)
On their site they say it works with any impedance amp(???)
Does that mean the ohmage of the speakers.
THD hotplate you must have the matching ohmage of the amp/speakers so
it can not be used on any amp .

The ohms of your amp & cab still have to match up (as normal), but it doesn't matter if it's 4, 8, 16 or whatever ohms. Basically, one unit can be used with all your amps (unlike the Hot Plate).

That alone makes it worth the extra money!!!
And easier to sell if one might not need it anymore.
