Been using Mackies for years but these new JBLs kick their ass and have unbelievable low end bass I have never heard from a 8in studio monitor (down to 37Hz). Monitors are so important when recording because of their flat response which you need to get your mix, frequency's and the EQ correct. For the price the are selling for it is going to be good for all of use as it should force some of the other manufactures to take notice and lower their price.
The JBL LSR2328P sell for $359 each and sound better than monitors costing a few hundred more. They have great amps and drivers and are perfect for any studio, Love them and highly recomend them. I will be selling my Mackie MR8s which are very good but not in the league of these.
