I was hesitant about a Line 6 product, but apparently they actually bought the technology from another company - the name escapes me. I can speak for the G50: both the transmitter and receiver built of aluminum and pretty heavy duty.

My only criticism is that the Tx eats AAs like candy... rechargeables! :)

I've used the Sennheiser

I need a new one (mine is no longer usable with the loss of freq to the gov).

i'm thinking of trying the line 6.. it's a little cheaper, heard it does just as good of job.

I'll say this.. you don't need that relay with the Sennheiser wireless. You actually have to turn it down, or it'll clip the shit out of the amp input and not in a good way.

I have been using a Line 6 G-50 for over a year now, along with the other guitarist in our band, and we both have had no issues. I did buy a spare patch cable though, just incase. I can not tell any difference in sound using it vs. a cable.

I have been running the Line6 G90 live on 5-6 gigs and it has worked perfectly. No issues whatsoever and I havent been able to hear any loss in sound.

Have you used it with your amps or with your Axe FX?

Just the AxeFx .. it's in a rack.
I have no plans to use it any other way.

I'm debating this one. AKG WMS 40 mini dual.
http://www.zzounds.com/item--AKGWMS40MDINST

it sounds fine w/ my rig & it's dual channel w/ 2 transmitters.
I priced the extra G50 transmitters @ over $150 ea & they still use the same channel, plus Line6 factory direct had them on a minimum 6mo backorder.
here's a link though-
http://line6.com/relay/addons.html

$200 w/out the cable,screw that.-

I've used the G-50 live with the following amps with no issues at all;

Marshall VM 2466
Bogner Alchemist
VHT/Fryette Deleverance 120
