I saw the Apollo when it came out and considered it because i am still putting my studio together. The benefit seems to be tracking with the plug ins but from what I can tell and people I've spoken with that is not much of an advantage. Also it has no MIDI and is very expensive. I'm also led to believe that UA plugins don't work well with Pro Tools but there are lots of opinions out there.

Never tried the UA plugins with Protools or have I ever even tried the UA plugins. True about the MIDI (I don't really use MIDI at all :P)

UA plugins are among the best plugins you can find. Most of them are awesome!
