the interface is ok.. for a single input but the rest- :roll
most of the time those pkg deals aren't worth the money.

you could do a lot better for cheaper for an interface on the used market.
keeping it loud- JMP-1 rack,LPs,strats,& way too much other gear.

Ive heard good things about the package from guys that have got it that's the only reason it tempted me haha, in regards to an interface there's not a huge amount to choose from if your using an iPad.. Especially now if it's pre lightning connector

The other thing I like about the interface is it's two in two out so I can record 2 tracks giving me the ability to blend two mics, most iPad interfaces are single in/out which sucks

oops,Ididn't look close enough the first time. 1 mic/1 inst in.you still can't do 2 mics unless you have an xlr-1/4" adapter & signal booster.
2 mic/inst would be better but I do understand the product availability limitations for i-whatever recording.

just out of curiosity why are you wanting to do ipad recording?

Because I've got an iPad and it'd be nice to use it for something other than porn :D, also just want to get into recording for the disciplin, i think it'd improve my playing greatly too and the iPad software is really easy to use, I don't a PC or laptop anymore at all either, although there is a MacBook Pro in the house
