Drum Tracks for Jamming and Recording

Postby surfnorthwest » 15 Mar 2010, 19:32

Over my 100 plus songs I have recorded I made my own drum tracks for them. If you ever tried to do this there is a art to it and it isn't that easy. So I got to thinking why not make a DVD full of about 90 jam tracks with full length songs just with the drums so guys could jam along or make their own songs out of them.

Currently I am working on mastering all of them in 24-bit .wav format so then can be imported into recording software of just used to play along with. The DVD will be availible for sale soon. Below are just three of the drum tracks from three of my songs in lower quality MP3 format to give you a small taste of what will be on the disk, you can listen to or download them here for free as a example. There will be hard rock, ballads, blues, and plain old rock in roll.

thats a great idea surf!! would also be a good idea for anyone just gettin into recordin, like i will be eventually, so that they can just import one of your drum tracks and practice recordin by comin up with guitar tracks to go over the drums etc. there is alot to learn with recordin and it would help people get goin much sooner!
Everybody seems to think i'm lazy.
I dont mind...I think they're crazy!
