Who's going? David Gilmour...

Postby P A U L » 29 Jan 2015, 12:32

This has been up for a while now, but, I'd imagine it's getting closer to reality. There's tentative dates/venues, w/ percentages of confirmed bookings. Looks like NY is booked as of now. Last time he toured, it sold out in minutes...

I'd LOVE to... but as per normal, he's not coming anywhere near me. I'll take a flight to N.Y.

August in San Fransisco is a easy option for me since United has a direct flight from my home. Last time I seen Floyd was on the Division Bell Tour in Vancouver BC and it was killer. They played 3.5 hours. Tickets are going to be priced out of control for this so while I would shell a fair amount I am not going to get ripped off.

Don't you know it... Last time they went quick & the scalpers were charging a mint. It should be criminal... Oh, wait...

Yes, he's always been selective on playing omly a few towns, back to the Wall tour...

Damn. No Southern gig. I saw Floyd in 93 in Atlanta. Still the best show I've been to. He sounds better live than studio to me. Awesome tone. One day when Gabriel blows his horn and the Gates of Heaven open I believe it will sound like Gilmour ' s Stratocaster.
