Scorpions World Tour

Postby surfnorthwest » 21 Apr 2010, 20:24

Yes!!! So I am a old Scorpions fan boy. Just scored 4 tickets 11th row front and center at the Amphitheatre in Clark County Washington (Portland) Anyone else planning on seeing the show? Really one of the better rock bands live for sure although its been many years since I seen them.

Looks like they will have some great company also on the US leg of the tour. Ratt, Tesla, Cinderella, and the band my venue got (which I wanted) is Dokken.

So a evening with Don Dokken and the Scorps should satisfy my concert erge for 2010. Here are some tour dates

Surf,

I've seen their last two tours here in Vegas-and they freakin' ROCKED. Rudy Schenker runs around the stage and rocks like he thinks he's still a 20 year old kid. Man, I gotta go see them, as this is supposed to be their last tour. I'm gettin' chills just thinkin about some of the old material they pulled out, stuff I hadn't listened to since I was 14-Lovin' You Sunday Morning, THE ZOO, I think they did Blackout too.

They were super pro, too-you know-not a half-assed bunch of has-beens just cashing in on their old fan base, like some of the older bands that I've seen. Everything from their sound, the set list, to the stage design showed careful thought, planning, and $$ spent making sure it was good.

Just watching Schenker rock out is worth the ticket price-he really dominates the stage.

Their new album is very good, the guitar sounds are pretty vicious-supposed to be their last album. :(

This is billed as their farewell tour, will have to wait to see the song set for the USA tour. Check out this video of the band speaking about it.
