The Union

Postby spidey » 23 Sep 2010, 16:05

Just got home from doing a support for The Union at my local venue. What a band! For those of you who don't know, this is Luke Morley from Thunder's new band with Pete Shoulder on vocals. Pete's a young guy with an AWESOME voice. If you like vocals in the style of Paul Rogers and early Coverdale, this is the man for you.
Luke and Pete both play guitar and both play Vintage Modern. I play a VM too so at one stage there were 4 VMs on stage! (Luke has 2 on the go). They have great songs and great playing and of course, great guitar tones.
I need to buy the album now! :jam
I'll give you everything but my guitar and my car.....

Thanks, sounds interesting and went over to YouTube and caught a few of their tunes, You are right about the singer, very Paul Rogers like. Many of the videos you could clearly see a VM. Was hard to search for as there are many bands using that name The Union.

'When I Don't Have Anything Interesting to Play, I just Play Fast' But then who wants to hear 64 bars full of 32nd-notes except the douche-bag blowing them from the stage.
