Joe Bonamassa at Newcastle playing the Kossoff Les Paul!!

Last month I was telling Joe that my Friend owns Paul Kossoff's Les Paul and I asked him if he would like to play it when he came to Newcastle City Hall, to which he replied "I'd love to play that guitar, Paul was one of my heroes". Fast forward to yesterday and Joe recognised it straight away and fell in love with it! (Check out his twitter)

He used it on stage of course and you can only get a mere shadow of an idea how great it sounded on this, the first of three songs he played with it; -

He's such a great guitar player and a joy to behold !
I've been to quite a few shows this year and JB was by far the best of them.
We'll see how I feel after Jeff Beck and Zappa Plays Zappa comes to town next month :-)
