My pal/friend Michael Gladstone who's worked for Robin, passed two weeks ago Saturday. Going through Robin's locker here (Equipment leaves in a couple weeks for the tour that starts in the end of the month in Florida), we found this amp:

Anyone have a clue as to what it is. I see that most of the original tone/coupling caps have been replaced with the orange pieces o`shite.
But certainly looks like something Robin's had for along time. I would imagine that this was in a combo since all the valves hang downwards. I'm wondering if it's something they custom made him back in the late Sixties.

As a huge Trower fan I find this really cool. Trower has always used Marshalls but I don't think he was afraid to try something different.

I would try to email Robin himself and ask him. I bet there is a story behind that thing. To me it has to be like a 1973 combo or the like.

I have been able to contact Robin through his website before.
