kt77,s in a jcm800

hi I am about to revalve my jcm800 can I put kt77,s in without changing anything apart from the bias reading and would it give me a chunkier sound than el34,s

Two months old but

If your amplifier has EL34 tubes then yes you can install KT77 without any modifications.
However the bias must be checked and rebias as needed.

KT77 should sound a little smoother with added bottom end.
