Bias video.

Postby slowpokerhino » 28 Aug 2008, 17:49

I found this video demo for biasing Marshall amps. I have a Multimeter & Bias Probe on the way. Is this video similar to biasing the 2466?

Steve, what would I bias it to for the most clean headroom, warmth & volume in low dynamic range?

It is optimally biased like that already. Changing to lower 'gm' grades of the output valves will make more of the difference that you're after.
