scratchy pot

The presence control on my VM 2466 is exhibiting a scratching noise through the speakers as it is rotated back and forth. Thanks.

I don't think that it's necessarily normal. It's not a real critical thing but it can be irritating.

I have 3 VM's of my own and have played through numerous others and none have scratchy pots.

Probably just dirty. Take some contact cleaner and clean the culprit(s).

I already saw that. So you guys have scratchy pots and they supposedly come from the factory like that?
