Creambacks

There is 25 and 30w Greenbacks and Blackbacks. But is there a 1970's 25 or 30w speaker called Creambacks also?

Yes, there were creambacks back then but they are not what the current creambacks are.

They are exactly the same as a greenback (25watts) but celestion ran out of the green caps so they used the other colors which were cream and black.

I think the cones differ on the different backs. I bet the Creambacks sound more creamy :winking
