Help me before I go mad!

Postby Jizzmasterzero » 03 Jan 2010, 07:36

I have not long ago bought a 1960 Lead cab.

My question is in the bottom left of the cab the plate says 1960 Lead, but when I sift through the internet I can only find plates which have 1960 lead vintage, classic, JCM900......etc.

It was made in 2005 but have no extra info other than that.

All I want to know is, is it any different to the other 1960's out there?

Thanks for the help

There are a couple different 1960 cabs out there. Mostly the difference is (I think) the speakers inside. You should have G12T-75s.

Marshall Vintage Modern 2266C

I have a well-thumbed copy of the 2005 Marshall Product catalogue which shows the standard 1960 cab, badged - '1960 LEAD', and is fitted with the G12T-75's. Sounds like your box!
