1960AHW G12H-30 vs 425a??

Postby freakinawesome » 25 Feb 2010, 18:06

Hey which cab is better for rock, blues - no metal.
I have the 1960AHW with G12H-30 and by all accounts it's a nice cab,but I can't help wondering if I'd get a better sound out of the 425a.Which would sound best with Tokai ls85 into the 2266?

I play rock,rock/blues but just like the generic rock tones.

Hands down the 425 or greenbacks will sound better with a Vintage Modern for blues and rock than those G12H-30s, not that they are a bad speaker but it is defenitly not the best option with this amp IMO.
