My first real amp was a laney tt50h, was a monster of an amp but didn't quite have the time I was looking for, it sounded very iommi on the high gain settings

I never got on with the one I had. I wrote them off for years because of that experience. The Lionhearts are on another level obviously.

This amp is 450 gbp, which is not much higher than the marshall 1w heads went for (after a few months pricese went down)

Yeah I remember when the 1 watters were first released they were 650-700quid, this is definitely well priced for what you are getting

The direct recording on both the di and sub are pretty natural too, still not as good as the mic but pretty damn close

Another good feature is on the line out, the filter type speaker emulation is switchable on or off.
Gainaddict has proven that digital impulse response speaker emulation is far better and realistic.

Mike_LA wrote:That's a pretty interesting amp, kind of curious about the Tone knob if you already have bass, mid, & treble control.

Oh wait a min, I guess the tone knob is for the reverb?

That and how does software control a tube amp?

I have a Laney VC15 that has pretty much this exact layout. The Tone knob (if it works like the VC15) is actually a master tone for the whole amp, not for the reverb. At first it seems redundant since you already have Treble, Middle and Bass, but it actually is very handy if you have a great sound and just need to "soften" or "brighten" your overall tone up.

It's actually kind of funny because I find myself missing this on other amps after I got used to it on my Laney, lol.
Are you the police?

No m'am, we're musicians.
