Yeah....the Tweaker pretty much rocks

In my opinion, way better than the Rebel 20. This amp has way more balls to it and it's ridiculously versatile. So much so that I have a hard time not tweaking with the damn thing!!! And that's saying a lot since I'm a pretty much set it and forget it kind of guy.

15 watts, Class A, 6V6 power tubes. Lots of "tweakable" tone circuit changes. It's a good amp at all levels, not just cranked which is really what I was needing.

I just got one myself. What speakers do you guys use with the Tweaker? I'm looking for a replacement speaker for my no-name 1x12. I didn't like it through my 2x12 Greenback cab. I would like to check out Eminence speakers. Any advise?

I don't have any experience with Eminence speakers, but I do know that Egnater pairs the Tweaker cab with G12H30 speakers. That's a great sounding speaker. I currently have mine running through a Celestion Lead 80 and it sounds pretty good, but I would go with the G12H30 if I had a choice.

Oh, and you can get those speakers for cheap at http://www.avatarspeakers.com The Hellatone 30 is the way to go.

Since you asked about Eminence. Eminence makes very good speakers. I have experience with the Governor, Tonker, Swampthing, and the Private Jack. There are many other selections with lots of info on their website.

I like the Private Jacks and have a pair of them inside a 2x12 Avatar cab and a single one in a 1x12 Lopoline open-back cab. It's a 50 watt speaker that's very similar to a greenback, although the bump is a little higher frequency, around 100 hz rather than 75, so they sound a bit richer. They are versatile and work for both distorted or clean settings.

The Governor is a lot like a V30. It has a very prominent high-mid sound that cannot be ignored and solid all around. It had a bit too much high-mid for my taste. The Tonker sounded very clear and LOUD to me, a lot like a EV12L, and with 150 watt handling. It wasn't my cup of tea. The Swampthing had a lot of low end rounded warmth, not so tight, and a bit of high end sizzle too, kind of like a Hellatone 30 in that respect. Anyway, might not be much help there but if you can figure out the model for your needs, Eminence are good ones and very well made. The ones LivewireBlanco mentioned are really good too.
