SteveD - I understand that if you'd made it a bit bigger with a 12" speaker, people would complain about the increased cost and weight :-).

But are there any plans for a "Class 10" - basically the same idea but with a 12" speaker, and an EL34 or a KT66? And maybe a MV... (but not reverb)

Kind of like a single-ended Studio 15! Which was a great little amp, but too far ahead of its time I think, and maybe not voiced 'vintagey' enough for today's market. I had one in the early 90s, and miss it occasionally. And an 18W is not what I want, before anyone asks - I want three tone controls, I don't need the other channel, and I prefer octal valves.

Or if there were, could you say? ;-)

I am very excited about the Class 5. VERY excited.
That being said, I have 2 concerns: 1. I don't care for 10" speakers, has to be 12" and 2. Will it be loud enough to play unmic'd with my band?
At $400 I would consider getting a pair and running them in stereo but this will only help it sound bigger and not really louder.
The "Class 10" (even without MV - I'd use a Dr. Z Brake Lite anyway) would be perfect.

I have a sneaking suspicion that a Celestion G10 Greenback (or maybe one of the old G10L-35s) would be a great fit for this amp (if the specially-designed G10F-15 isn't to your liking).

Actually the delay is on our side as we had to go through some red tape before shipping to the States because of ammended conformity standards. Don't worry, they'll be with you soon. Don't forget to give the speaker a chance to break in!
