Is there a way to hook up the c5 so that the internal speaker still works with an extention cab.

The easiest way to try it would be to connect the ext cab to the two idle spade connectors on the G10F speaker. The resulting impedance mismatch should not damage the amp as long as you use 8 or 16 Ω speakers.
