My Class 5 Doesn't Turn Down!

Postby FuzzMonkey » 03 Oct 2012, 01:35

Greetings All,

This may sound odd (to me anyway) but while playing round with my C5-01 combo I discovered that it doesn't turn all the way down i.e. totally silent. It probably the first time I've ever turned the volume down all the way so I've never noticed it before. It doesn't worry me but I'm curious why now? I did recently change the tubes but I anybody could shed some light on why I'd be grateful for any help.

Regards,

Fuzz.

When I read the thread title I thought you meant "It stays on 10".
My reply was going to be "I don't see the problem bro."
LOL

That is weird, only thing I can think of is the volume pot leaks. My C5 head is silent turned down.

My combo doesn't turn all the way down, neither did my other one when I had it. I thought it had to do with it being NMV, but I don't remember. We had this conversation before either here or on the "other" forum and it was decided that it's normal.

Thanks Steve. That's all I needed to know, I'll seek out the thread you mentioned when I get a chance.

Same thing with my Class 5 combo. It is not silent when the Volume knob is set to 0/10.
I think it's ok. Better loud when the volume is turned down then silent when it's cranked. :Thumbs
