Bye bye little EHX

Postby ClassicRock88 » 13 Dec 2012, 13:36

My last EH EL84 let go today so the C5 is up for a retube. Not that I didn't like the Electro Harmonix, but I'm in the mood for something different. Finalists are TAD, JJ, Mullard reissue and Gold Lion EL84. Who should it be??

I wanted just a little more headroom, so I tried the JJ EL 84m.
Very pleased with the results....
