class5 headphone sound correction

Hi has anybody done a better eq-ed
headphone output. the stock headphone
is simply unusable harsh and thinny,
I guess some right R/C filter :scared2 wd correct that.
thanks. cd not find a clue by search here.
and I am not talking the headphone
low power trick i do mean the headphone
for headphone purposes!

Really nothing you can do to eq it, you are going to have to find the right headphones that will sound good to you. The expensive one won't necessarily be the best ones for this application.

I use Sennheiser headphones that cost ~ $25.00 at MF and they sound good. The reviews mentioned that they have good bass so I took a shot. Not bad for the price. :Thumbs

You can experiment with different headphones to see which sounds better to you - it will be a very personal choice.

Or, you could invest in a little headphone amp with EQ capability, like this one:
