MID CONTROL

Postby jrphatstrat » 17 May 2013, 14:45

I love my class 5 but one thing irks me, the mid control knob. Does it actually do anything. I may hear a slight change going all the way from one side to the other but honestly it seems like it does nothing. Is this just my amp or are you guys noticing this too? doesn't matter much, I like the way it sounds anyway but it just seems like there could be more of a range there, . Anyway, mine is a version 2, 3 peice back but no low power mode. The amp sounds amazing but if i had to bitch about something this is it! :rock on

It's not a massive difference but there is a difference to me. This amp is voiced a certain way and i look at the tone controls as more or less a tweak. I think the mids are key to dialing it in.

I agree with that on the mid control, but on mine the other two are super sensitive. The bass control is almost twitchy it makes such a difference.
