What's the hold up?

Postby slowpokerhino » 15 Oct 2009, 21:42

Steve,
According to Sweetwater the Class 5 US delivery time has been pushed back to Dec. 5.
With Christmas that close it'll be really hard to justify to the wife why I need a new amp which means I'll have to wait until at least January.
You guys are killing me! :cuss

I don't know to be honest, there's certainly no issues with it. Some stores over here are on to their third or even fourth order.

I guess it comes down to Korg's schedule for getting it distributed. They handle quite a few products so maybe it's in some sort of queue. I would imagine they'll also be carrying out their own quality audit when they have received their shipment.

I remember when I got my 2266C I was going to order it from Musicians Friend but it kept getting pushed back. Finally I went to GC and put in an order with them that was basically "get me one and tell me when it gets here". Took about a month but I got my 2266C eventually.

I've still never seen a 2266c in person. None of the stores around here ever got the combos. :dunno

The one I had is the only one I've ever seen.

With all the discussion i think that that class 5 will be a huge hit in the US - first amp to stem back to UK blues revival in the UK??

It ain't a thrash amp but a true blues amp!
