There should be no rattle from the Class 5 if you use an external cab since it's internal speaker is disabled when when connecting this way. Although, if you set your Class 5 on top of the external cabinet there might still be enough vibration to make it rattle. You will have to experiment to see what works best.

Damn. If you're thinking that in depth mate, why not just get yourself an 800 & cab.

Truly,I think the C5 is fine w/the 10" celestion that it's loaded with. But like I said if you really want that balls to the wall air pushing marshall sound...get a decent head AND quady. :beerme

As always it will be down to personal preference which external cab sounds best to you but I haven't really heard a bad one yet.

That would be the ideal but i don't have the money now for both, and i am afraid it will be too loud for where i play..
Moreover i think this little baby is underestimated,it has such a great tone that with a 4x12 can be your one and only amp..So i am thinking of byuing a cabinet now to use it with class5 and maybe sometime later buy a good marshall head.

I don't know as I'm very busy on other stuff at the moment but I know QA issues always get addressed. It's an ongoing process with all product like any company.

Well, when you have 5 minutes..those of us who purchased a Class 5, then had to go to the trouble of returning it, would greatly appreciate an update. Perhaps an email to the Q A section...or a quick phone call....

thanks for the reply Steve....and i understand your position.

I also, empathise with you...this would certainly be frustrating for you as the amps designer.

We all look forward to a speedy resolution of the problem...

All of us want the Class 5 to succeed.

Thank you for your speedy reply.

cheers
